RECREATION: T-Day Boredom Busters

Parents: Now is the time to take a pre-emptive strike against your children’s boredom during Thanksgiving break. Sign them up for Campus Recreation’s Boredom Busters camp that runs the three days before the holiday.

The camp, for kindergarten through sixth grade, is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 23-25. A half-day program runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. all three days.

The cost is $135 for the full-day program or $85 for half-day for UC Davis students and Activities and Recreation Center members. Add $10 if you are not a UC Davis student or ARC member.

Organizers are telling participants: “Kids should bring their bikes so we can ride around campus to participate in fun activities that could include arts and crafts, sports, rock wall climbing and horseback riding.”
