Music lovers united

The two were paired recently through Classical Companions, a new UC Davis Presents program that links senior citizens and college students to attend selected music performances together free.

According to Dave Webb, marketing manager for UC Davis Presents, the program offers the senior citizens transportation to the on-campus concerts and the chance to introduce students to the joys of classical music and the satisfaction of contributing to their community. And all involved in the program get the chance to make new friends with a common interest in music.
