Yes, indeed, this is Associate Vice Chancellor Darrell Ralls having a ball--a softball dunk, that is. The facilities administrator volunteered to get wet last week--and lock shop employee Tito Santos assisted with a well-placed throw--a s a fund-raiser for two dozen facilities folks who make up the UC Davis chapter of Craftsmen for Christ. The volunteer organization uses its members' skills to do good Samaritan work in Yolo and Sutter-Yuba communities. Group member Bob Ouzts of the M echanical Office reports more than $700 was raised from campus colleagues through spaghetti and bean feeds, the dunk tank and cash donations to tackle a remodeling job for the Yolo County Care Continuum's Haven House in Woodland.
